Hi There! My name is Lucy, and I am thrilled to be part of the Golden Years team, dedicated to capturing the Golden moments you will cherish forever.

My journey with photography began six years ago when my Dad surprised me with a Canon AE-1 on Christmas day. Since then, it has become my most treasured possession and my greatest passion.

I first crossed paths with Chelsee at a close friend's wedding where Golden Years was the main photographer. I attended with my trusted Canon AE-1 as my plus one. I vividly recall Chelsee asking to take a photo of my friend and I, and to my surprise, she had a film camera in hand—a rarity amidst the digital photographers I had encountered at previous weddings. The ceremony was stunning, the couple radiant, and there we were, cameras poised, capturing "that shot." At that moment, I knew Chelsee and I shared a passion for authentic photography.

Now, three years later, I am beyond excited to officially join the GYG team—Golden Years Gals! I look forward to capturing your Golden Year moments through the timeless beauty of Film.

Hi there! My name is Michael and I am Chelsee’s husband. We’ve been together for 14 incredible years. Meeting at a 16th birthday party and the rest is history. For all this time I have known Chel, she has captured every single bit of our love story on film. This has now flourished into capturing every single moment of our son’s childhood.

Because of this, I to have grown to love film and seeing just how important it is to capture these sweet moments. I’ve watched Chel collect all our Photo Booth pictures, polaroids, love letters and she’s collected every single point and shoot under the sun, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. It’s so incredible to see first hand our love through all these photos.

I hope to bring to couples this exact same thing and feeling. I want to give couples a gallery they will look back on and forever feel every single emotion that day brought. Film is unlike anything and I am so excited to be a part of Golden Years.

Hey I’m Briana, you can call me Bri! If you’ve been around Chelsee and I in the same room you’ll soon learn she calls me Nike (so don’t be surprised if you hear that haha).

Chelsee and I first became friends in high school, we carpooled every day as soon as we got our P’s and were attached at the hip our senior years. After graduating, life took me over to the US where I spent the last decade between Southern California and NYC, and I just moved back to Sydney last year. One of my best decisions yet.

Photography has always been a passion of mine, documenting my travels and the people I’ve gotten to know along the way. After dipping my toes into the world of film not too long ago, I haven’t been able to look back. I’ve been fortunate to work with different brands and travelled to beautiful places, but my passion truly lies in capturing real stories and the love and joy in those small moments of life.

It feels full circle that those two young girls, rolling our eyes in photography class, who couldn’t stop dreaming about life outside of high school, are now working together all these years later, how lucky are we.

There is no substitute for the feelings you can capture through film and that is so clear in the magic Golden Years creates. I was so thrilled when Chelsee and I started talking about working together and I am honoured to be included in making that magic happen now as part of the Golden Years crew.
